Oh time, Oh magic, Wher art thou?

*sigh* this blog was started with so many dreams and anticipations but now it wears such a forlorn look. Dear blog [space], we are extremely sorry. I keep thinking and planning to write something crazy but then something always comes up and I predictably end up pushing the task further down my list. But I’m missing Tanya and Aarti so dearly that I have this strong urge to post an entry in their name. Tanya agreeably is busy with the whole corporate stint and hence cannot be blamed, Aarti, I’m sure is waiting for one us to start the thread weaving again so that she can carry the flow of thoughts further, that leaves me..who can perfectly accommodate filling our cheerful, warm space! So here I am. So much has happened since our last entry..first Aarti went on and got engaged and then Tanya finally landed the job she was sub-consciously looking for and the biggest surprise of it all I got hitched! [for good or worse is yet to be ascertained]

It feels so strange being here. A year back and we were planning vacations, Tanya’s birthday gift and how should we be blowing our salaries [Food, clothes, shoes, travel]?! I miss those carefree days, when me, Tanya and Aarti would meet for our much coveted weekly meets at Frescos. That time was so precious, so magical. I miss Tanya’s Malboros and Wills over which she used to voice her concern of where the world was coming to..[no we hardly ever spoke about politics or global warming, there were much bigger concerns ''in a perspective of-course'' ] I miss Aarti’s tsk tsk’ing’ over lack of time, over a missed fashion grab , over non-existent calories and over what-not! I just miss them so much. I could trade anything to have that celebrated corner back at Frescos. Time has a way of travelling a thousand years without ever being noticed. Seems hard to believe that it was just sometime back that we were enjoying a solitary walk to the downtown in Pau. It almost seems like something out of the Chronicles of Narnia, something beautiful, something magical and oh-so hard to believe that we shared such joyous times with only us as the witnesses!

Alas! here we are, each at our own different corners, with one thing to agree upon..wish we could travel back in time.

I miss you both so much that I’m writing a pun-less, sarcasm-less entry! Here’s to the two most amazing women of my life. I might not tell it out that often, but I miss you guys dearly and I wish I could turn back time to Pau.
